If something's wrong, write.

On the Pro screen, tap Restore Purchases. It asks the App Store, not us, and needs no account. If it finds nothing, the phone is signed in to a different Apple ID from the one that bought Pro. On a new phone, sign in with the same Apple ID first.

Pro is a subscription through the App Store, so Apple manages it. On your iPhone go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions, choose Ai Calculator and tap Cancel, or use apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for. If you are in a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. We cannot refund a payment; ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The terms have the detail.

It depends on the message:

• “AI isn't available yet.” The AI service is not reachable for this copy of the app. Update Ai Calculator and try again later; if it keeps happening, write to us.
• The Pro screen opens instead of an answer. From version 1.2, Ask, Scan and Explain are part of Pro. (Earlier versions said “You've used today's free AI answers” after a few a day.)
• “You've reached today's fair-use limit.” Pro's daily allowance is 20 AI answers, counted by the service rather than on your phone. It resets at midnight UTC.
• “Too many requests.” Wait a minute and try again.
• “Couldn't reach the AI service.” Check your connection and try again.
• “That didn't work. Try rewording it.” Say it more simply, or scan a smaller part of the page.

What is sent when you use the AI is set out in the privacy policy. Scan sends the photo you scan (made smaller, with its location and camera details removed) and the text read from it; neither is stored.

When you open Currency in Convert (or the Notepad, the Travel expense form, or your rate alerts), Ai Calculator asks its server for the latest rates and keeps them on your phone for 30 minutes before asking again. They are daily reference rates from a public source, not live market prices and not what a bank or card will charge, and the screen shows how old they are. With no connection, Ai Calculator uses the last rates it saved, or the table that shipped with the app, and marks them Offline.

Not the instant a rate crosses your target. Ai Calculator checks when you open the app, and in the background a little after the day's new rates are published (about every four hours when it cannot tell), but iOS decides when a background check really runs, so an alert can arrive a few hours late. It will not run if Background App Refresh is off, in Low Power Mode, or after you force-quit the app. The rates themselves are daily reference rates. Make sure notifications are allowed for Ai Calculator in your iPhone's Settings › Notifications › Ai Calculator. An alert fires once, and you can set it again from Settings › Currency › Rate alerts. A target the rate has already passed fires at the next check.

Ai Calculator uses your iPhone's per-app language. Tap Settings › Language in Ai Calculator, or open your iPhone's Settings › Apps › Ai Calculator › Language, and choose one of: English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish or Simplified Chinese.

On your phone. Ai Calculator has no account and no copy of your History, notes, loans or alerts on a server of ours. Delete the app to remove everything it kept. Nothing else needs closing.
